Gross Salary is the sum of the amount before taxes and deductions that is paid by the employer to the employee. It is decided at the start of employment tenure when the position is offered and is termed as gross monthly or annually which is earned by the employee. The gross salary is a sum of wages, bonuses, special allowances and incentives that together form an individual’s income. As the gross salary is decided before the time of preparing a job contract the final amount will be reduced after deductions and taxes to comply with the taxation and state laws and the final amount is termed as the employees’ gross income.
